I've noticed several negative comments on netload's speed lately. According to their support Netload decreased speed for free users, because they are "doing some update and they need performance to do that".
dude !!!!
lately half the stuff thats multi part files
is ending up corrupt !!!

I bought a premium account couple days ago,first 3 days went fine but yesterday and today it's fucking so slow,what is happening guys?
I'm a premium member averaging 30 kb/sec over the last month when I used to get 1.5 mb/sec. Needless to say, I won't be renewing that service.
and lately and esp. yesterday the un rared
files are incomplete/corrupt !

Looks that certain people are not allowed no more to tell the truth. I wrote a lenghty post (pretty civil but on point). It never showed up.
They fool us like one other sayed in this thread... still slow downloads Rates at Netload !

No problems at all with netload premium solid 8Mbit/s (as fast as my connection can go). Awesome service.
i'm getting 500+ KB per second on netload and i love it.
but then again i got a premium membership of a month for $12 and i have to say that is pretty reasonable. in a bit over 2 weeks i've downloaded tons of things from here that i think it's worth the small investment.
and no, i'm not making some pitch for them. just sayin'
Thanks for the update, aussie. Netload is presently basically not viable for your files when it takes an hour to d/l 50 MB! I hope they fix the problem soon because until they do, there is no point in trying to use that service when it is so slow. I am "trying" to d/l a file now and Firefox is showing the d/l speed in the range of 7-12 KB/sec!!! That sucks sooo badly! I've tried a couple of things from mediafire and it looks pretty good. I haven't found many links of interest using that service, however. Maybe you ought to try that one and see.
I've had a RS premium account for a year and a half, NL premium for 3 months and just got Depositfiles premium this month. The NL download speed is diabolically slow compared to either of them. So much so that I was convinced something was wrong with my connection. Turns out it's fine and the problem is on NL's end. Sites like this is the only reason I would ever pay NL. Thank you for putting stuff up any way I can get it but I haven't had a very good experience with NL -- maybe I'll change to Hotfile next month.
keep uploading to netload, it's the best thing out there.

I got a premium account on Netload for this site alone, and it is worth it IMHO. I pull down probably 2G an evening. My ISP probably hates me, but my FIOS rocks, and so does Premium Netload. If you decide to change, Aussie, give us a couple weeks notice, so I can let my Netload lapse and sign up for new hoster.

how do you guys feel about mediafire? it's got very little wait time and very good speed. i'm blissfully ignorant of any negatives on the uploader's side though.
I wonder why people don't use Mediafire? It gives you top speed and no wait time. Why do people use RapidShare and MegaUpload and Netload and such when MediaFire is so amazing?

hotfile is fast if you use a download manager because they allow multiple connections.. netload is probably trying to get ppl to buy premium by lowering the speeds for free users

desde un principio netload para mi es muy inferior, pero ya que no pudes cambiar ese servidor cambia hotfile por megaupload que muchos te lo pedimos ya que en hotfile los links mueren muy rapido y no se aprovecha todo el ancho de banda

There is another server you used sometime when netload was down. I don't remember which.
I have a connection 1M and with hotfile you can only download about 115MB

i agree that megaporn/megaupload is much much better than netload, but Aussie probably makes money from netload and is not going to want to switch. can he make money from megaporn too?

Please go to Megaupload for incoming releases, Netload really sux.
Netload it´s fine to me.I get the maximum speed never below 1,2Mb/sg.
So why not use MegaUpload??
I've adapted a little bit. Now when I download from Netload, I just go outside to watch a Hollywood movie at the multiplex, then come back after a few hours of drinks at the bar and my grab is about five minutes to completion!
ahh thx for info, therefore i make a premium account and the bitrate is nice i have no problem, its like rapidshare, freeusers have a low bitrate and premium users have high bitrate.
They do that for money dude

i've switched to hotfile and get about 1.2Mb/sec now.
Finally we know whatz goin' on. They're really morons. At least the Hotfile now runs lightspeed. From 150-50kb/s speed im now gettin' around 700-600kb/s. Strange but welcomed.
at least they can give us a two days premium...
They have to be the dumbest sysadm's on the internet. No "update" takes 5 days to accomplish unless you really do not know to plan anything in advance. Further, nobody slows down their entire site on purpose for 5 days for an "update". No doubt they are currently experiencing huge re-transmit issues and dropped downloads due to their incompetent and currently incomplete "update". Duh! Hire chicks- WE know what we are doing and how to run systems and networks correctly!

yep actual free user speed makes netload useless for now,
i am wondering if they going the same way as rapidshare did, setting free user speed so low that free users wont download anymore
anyway for the time being it would be nice to have working hotfile links, some or many were broken past few days!
